Combining traditional and cutting edge techniques, this bespoke guest tutor workshop combines hand embroidery, flocking and foiling on stunning printed textiles. This workshop will introduce you to the process of print design where you will create a final embellished design full of colour and surprising and exciting texture. Lucy will then show how you can further enhance your piece with hand embroidery exploring techniques including hand beading, silk shading and goldwork to create a truly beautiful art piece.

Techniques used: Flocking, Foiling and Hand Embellishment

At the conclusion of the workshop, you'll produce a beautiful 40x40cm fabric on Charlotte's stunning print design. Your piece will dazzle with the intricate effects of flocking with accents of foiling, creating a surface that shimmers and sparkles. Guided by Lucy, you'll then venture into the realm of embroidery artistry, mastering metal thread techniques and silk work, further enriching your fabric with an array of captivating embellishments.
