Online Masterclasses FAQ
Introducing Hand & Lock's brand new online Masterclasses. Learn the art of embroidery at your own pace with this collection of step by step embroidery videos. Filmed from multiple camera angles in the highest resolution that can be watched whenever you like. By purchasing this Masterclass you will be given exclusive access to the full collection of in depth videos, watch our expert tutors guide you through each technique and get all the insider tips and tricks to understanding your chosen technique. All videos will be will be accessible through our online portal. These videos can be watched in your own time and at your own pace.
What is provided for the class?
Once you have purchased this online Masterclass you will receive the following:
- Exclusive access to online course via our portal for 5 years.
- Embroidery Kit & Instruction booklet shipped directly to you. The contents of your kit is provided in the course description.
Please note that shipping is additional and will be added at checkout.
The kit does not include an embroidery frame. For the best frame sizes please check your specific course description.
How do I access the course?
The Classes will be accessed via Teachable. If you have previously used teachable please use the same email address.
Following the purchase of your Embroidery Course from the Hand & Lock Shop website, you would have received an email from Hand & Lock School, with Redeem your copy of Goldwork Masterclass in the subject.
Open this email and you should then click on the red button "Confirm Email" link and be asked to confirm your email that you used to purchase through the Hand & Lock Shop and register an account with Teachable.
Once you are confirmed on the course, please then go to handandlock.teachable.com to login into your student account and access the course(s). Do not use the main Teachable site to login.
When will I receive my Masterclass kit?
Kits are dispatched within two weeks, you will receive a shipping email with your tracking information once your order is dispatched.
If I need more kit supplies what do I do?
All of the materials included in the kit are available to purchase from Hand & Lock in store and on our website here.
We may be in touch after you have started your course to gain some feedback about the courses. This will be via a non-compulsory form sent out to you via email.
