Hand & Lock are leading an introductory workshop that covers the basics, insider tips and practical application making sure students are fully equipped to go on and apply what they have learned to their own garments and develop their own unique styles.
The class is suitable for beginners. The class covers the basics, insider tips and practical application making sure students are fully equipped to go on and apply monograms to their own garments and develop their own unique styles.
Throughout the two days, students will learn the following:
– Blanket stitch
– Satin stitch
– Purl purl
– French knots
– Running stitch
– Chain stitch
– Detached chain stitch
In this class, students will be working with a broach design. All materials are provided by Hand & Lock and students are able to take the embroidery pack home.Suitable for beginners.
Classes take place at the Hand & Lock studio at 86 Margaret Street, London. The nearest tube station is Oxford Circus.
Classes run 10.00 - 4.30 with all course materials provided. Upon completion of the class students can request an official Hand & Lock certificate detailing the new skills mastered.
